I would describe myself as
a colourful realist. Whether exploiting the jewel-like colour of oil pastel or the immediacy and vibrancy of
soft pastel, my passion is
for still life painted directly from the subject, though I
also enjoy tackling landscapes, portraits and figures, and
take commissions to paint pet portraits from photographs.
