My latest series, the Waterways
Project was inspired by my love of the entire watershed in
Illinois where I live. This series expresses the diversity
of water in our area: bog, pond, rivers and of course the
magnificent Lake Michigan. Water is nature's best solvent and
a power that can not be ignored. We depend on it for our
lives and the nurture of our soul. Doing the project has
brought me great joy and helped me to learn not only about
art making but the journey of water in the environment.
