December 2005 In January, as we mark the beginning of our second full year, the Oil Spiel will become an exclusive benefit of membership. Beginning with the January issue of the Oil Spiel, the newsletter will be available to members only. We will have a newsletter webpage that you can bookmark in your internet browser and we will also provide the access link in the email announcement sent out each month. The general public will be able to see information about the Oil Pastel Society as well as a brief paragraph about the Artist of the Month. That paragraph will be linked to the artist’s OPS gallery page. The general public will also see a sample (old) issue of the Oil Spiel to see what it is like. The newsletter itself will contain information, articles and the full Artist of the Month interviews you have come to expect. In this way it will be similar to paper copies of newsletters being sent to members thru the mail. Also, January is the time to renew your membership. Dues can be paid thru the PayPal link on the membership page or a personal check can be mailed. The Oil Pastel Society, Membership, P. O. Box 390114, Snellville, GA 30039 Anyone who has joined since October 1 of this year will not have to pay again in January. (They have paid their dues for 2006 already.) Thanks for a great year.
