My education and work experience are at odds with, and paradoxically in accord with, a deep and abiding love of artistic expression.  Educated in Agriculture, Religion and Law, I nonetheless gravitate toward art as the most rewarding of all endeavors.  I discovered oil pastel in the last year, and I connect with it as a medium that allows me to create images by drawing with color.  The end result nonetheless has a painterly quality.  I enjoy exploring elements of garden and landscape as my primary subject matter, although I occasionally create portraits, still life and abstract pieces.
