currently live in Fontana California. I am a high school art teacher.
I recently completed my Masters in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute.
I received my B.F.A. from Ringling School of Art and Design in Illustration.
I discovered oil pastels while doing an art project with my students around the
year 2000. Since then I have been hooked. I love the way the medium
feels while creating my artwork. It takes me to a different place and
brings out of me so many images and colors. I have begun to dabble in the
aqua pastels and have begun to combine the two mediums as well. As an
artist I like to explore new mediums and work with combinations of materials and
mediums. However, I do stay true to my love of oil pastels.
